RE: High Altitude Jet for Honda EU2000
We ran ours at 8200 feet this summer. No problems at all. I do have the high altitude jets with me, but never had the need to switch them out.
RE: Best route to RNP
We took 80 to 680 and then picked up State Road 14 at Sterling. Followed 14 all the way to 25. Saved a few miles. No traffic. Good luck
RE: Honda 3000 or twin 2000"s?
We have the twins. I need both of them to run my A/C. Most of the time I am using just one. As far as the noise goes, I always have mine on eco position. They are very quiet. We went with the 2000 watt generators in favor of the 3000 watt generator because of the weight factor. Good luck with your decision.
RE: Hydralic or Electric slide control
We have Hydraulic slides and landing gear. Never had any problems with our setup. Seems to be much quicker then the motor driven slides. Good luck with your decision.
RE: water pressure
Is it equipped with a water filter? You may want to change the filter out to a less restrictive one to increase your pressure. Good luck.
RE: Battery - two 12V's or two 6V's
If you boondock, go with the combination of deep cycle batteries that offer the greatest amount of amp hours. 12 volt or sixers. Good luck.
RE: No Perfect Trailer Tires out there
If you are going to stay with st tires, then oversize them, to get to a higher load rating. If you have the room move up to a 16 inch load range E tire. That was the first modification I completed on my rig. Good luck!
RE: Will my battery last untill Friday?
I would charge the battery. Much more likely to run out of electricity before you run out of propane. Good luck.
RE: main 30 Amp keeps tripping
You may want to buy Amwatt. It is a good way to determine the wattage/amperage of what you are using in your trailer. You may have something that is drawing more then you think. Good luck.
RE: Battery recomendation?
It is an amp hour thing. Buy the deep cycle batteries that offer the greatest amount of amp hours. Good luck with your decision.
RE: Generator and A/C in 5th. Wheel
Not enough information on the A/C unit installed in the 5er. Starting the compressor may draw too many amps for the generator. Other items may also be using the electricity, (battery charging) etc. Good luck.
